Manager, IT Delivery

Responsibilities:Lead delivery and production support for Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM platforms supporting enterprise finance functionsManage and develop a team of 6 direct reports and 1 contractor, providing coaching, performance management, and leadership directionPartner with Corporate Financial Reporting and Controller teams to translate accounting, financial, and reporting needs into scalable technology solutionsOversee systems supporting general ledger, financial close, account reconciliation, tax reporting, and board-level reporting (10Q/10K)Drive execution of key initiatives aligned to corporate finance transformation and long-term strategic goalsManage backlog, enhancements, and production support activities to ensure system reliability and responsivenessLead Agile delivery practices, including backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and iterative improvementEnsure timely evaluation and implementation of Oracle Cloud monthly and quarterly updates and patchesBuild strong stakeholder relationships and act as a trusted advisor across business and technology teamsMonitor delivery metrics, identify risks, and proactively implement mitigation strategiesFoster a high-energy, collaborative team environment and provide stability within a team that has experienced leadership transitionEducation & Experience:Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required; advanced degree preferredMinimum of 8+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in leadership or IT delivery management rolesProven leadership experience with the ability to energize teams, build engagement, and drive resultsExperience delivering enterprise technology solutions within finance, accounting, or corporate reporting domainsExposure to Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM (e.g., FCCS, ARCS, TRCS, Narrative Reporting, GL) preferred but not requiredStrong project and delivery management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in complex environmentsExperience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and ConfluenceStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levelsFamiliarity with AWS and Workiva is a plusSpecial FactorsSponsorshipVanguard is not offering visa sponsorship for this position.About Vanguard At Vanguard, we don't just have a mission-we're on a mission.To work for the long-term financial wellbeing of our clients.
