Join us!Job Description:This job is responsible for defining and leading the engineering approach for complex features to deliver significant business outcomes. Key responsibilities of the job include delivering complex features and technology, enabling development efficiencies, providing technical thought leadership based on conducting multiple software implementations, and applying both depth and breadth in a number of technical competencies. Additionally, this job is accountable for end-to-end solution design and delivery.Responsibilities:Ensures that the design and engineering approach for complex features are consistent with the larger portfolio solutionDefine the technology tool stack for the solution and evaluate and adapt new testing tool/framework/practices for team(s)Enables team(s)/applications with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) capabilities and engages with other technical stakeholders pertaining to efficient functioning of CI-CD pipelineGuides and influences team(s) on design and best practices for high code performance -e.g. pairing, code reviewsProvides end-to-end delivery of complex features, including automation, for either a single team or multiple teams, at the program levelConducts research, design prototyping and other exploration activities such as evaluating new toolsets and components for release management, CI/CD, and featuresWorks with stakeholders to establish high-level solution needs and with architects for technical requirementsDefine the reference architecture for GenAI use cases across model access, orchestration, retrieval, tool calling, agent patterns, and runtime controls, ensuring designs are scalable, reusable, and aligned to enterprise standards.Produce architecture standards covering identity, data boundaries, guardrails, observability, resiliency, and human-oversight patterns, with explicit guidance on designing for high availability, fault tolerance, and production-grade performanceEstablish capacity and scaling strategies for the platformDefine resiliency architecture and service tiering modelsPartner with platform engineering, security, and use-case owners to ensure new solutions align to approved GenAI patterns and business outcomes, with clear separation of responsibilities across Developer, Use Case Owner, and End User personasRequired Qualifications10+ years in enterprise architecture, platform architecture, or distributed systems designDeep experience designing platforms operating at scale, not just single-use applicationsStrong experience with GenAI/agentic architecture:model gateways, RAG, vector retrieval, orchestration, tool calling, guardrails, evaluationProven experience designing for:high availability, scalability, and performance optimizationcapacity planning and workload distribution across distributed systemsExperience defining standards for:identity, access control, and secure service integrationdata scope, governance, and controlled access in regulated environmentsFamiliarity with:observability, auditability, and resilience patternstelemetry, real-time monitoring/alerts, and traceability across distributed workflowsDesired Qualifications:Banking or other highly regulated enterprise environment experienceExperience designing enterprise AI platforms supporting multiple teams and products at scaleExperience with:AI model registries, lineage, and compliance metadataPerformance benchmarking and scaling strategies for AI workloadsExperience with:Agentic RAG and complex multi-hop retrieval patterns distributed, multi-agent systems operating under governance and control frameworksSkills:AutomationInfluenceResult OrientationStakeholder ManagementTechnical Strategy DevelopmentApplication DevelopmentArchitectureBusiness AcumenRisk ManagementSolution DesignAgile PracticesAnalytical ThinkingCollaborationData ManagementSolution Delivery ProcessMinimum Education Requirements: Bachelor degree or equivalent professional experienceShift:1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week: 40Pay Transparency detailsUS - NY - New York - 1100 Ave Of The Americas - Two Bryant Park (NY1540)Pay and benefits informationPay range$122,000.00 - $200,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.Discretionary incentive eligibleThis role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
