In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.Process OverviewGlobal Corporate and Investment Banking (GCIB) Coverage - Global Capital Markets (GCM)The GCM team in co-ordination with its global counterparts, participates in origination and syndication of IPOs, Follow-ons, High Yield & High Grade Loans, Bonds Offerings, etc. The Global Capital Markets business comprises our Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and Debt Capital Markets (DCM) businesses. It also includes the ESG advisory vertical - Sustainable Solutions Group - which focuses on advising clients on strategies to successfully meet their sustainability goals including Net Zero and Carbon Neutrality and to provide integrated and innovative ESG-strategic solutions and transactions for our client.The Global Capital Markets team helps companies and institutions access the equity and debt markets to raise capital to fund their business needs. The team specializes in advisory services as well as structuring and executing financing through a broad range of sophisticated equity and debt solutions.Job DescriptionThe candidate will have broader responsibilities of working on all desks in GCM and will need to be a Product expert. The candidate will support origination and syndication of instruments including providing financial and qualitative analysis as well as assistance in underwriting, committing, and closing transactions. The candidate will also support activities related to automating business processes for clients by collaborating with functional process owners and business process design teams to identify automation opportunities.The ECM team operates at the intersection of Investment Banking and Equities Sales & Trading, offering a uniquely dynamic vantage point. ECM professionals are engaged in both the short-term movements of the capital markets and the long-term strategic objectives of clients. Analysts are expected to take meaningful responsibility early on, contributing to the desk's daily workflow and supporting transaction execution, client advisory and market analysis.ResponsibilitiesAssist in origination and execution of equity and equity-linked transactions across IPOs, FOs, ABBs, block trades, convertibles and other capital-raising solutionsPrepare and refine client advisory materials, including strategic presentations and thematic wedges on equity market trends, fundraising windows and issuance strategiesConduct analysis of precedent transactions, focusing on deal structure, valuation benchmarks, investor response, and aftermarket performanceDeliver regular market condition updates tailored to specific industry sectorsPerform shareholder base analysis, including ownership trends, investor behavior and liquidity assessmentAssist in investor targeting exercises, including identifying potential buyers and investor profilingContribute to ad-hoc projects, supporting senior team members as market conditions and business needs evolveAssumes complete ownership of products to ensure accuracy in materialsConsistently demonstrates impeccable attention to detailDemonstrates willingness to cross leverage and support other product typesExhibits integrity and accountabilityRequirementsExperience Range - 1+ years of relevant experience post MBA preferably in Equity Capital MarketsEducation: MBA / CFA Level 3 - PreferredFoundational skillsStrong financial modelling skillsExperience Range- One year in financial industry, research and analyticsStrong finance knowledge including understanding of Global companies' filings and financialsFamiliar with company filings and capital structure of the companyProficiency with Microsoft Office, Dealogic and Bloomberg skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skillsDesired skillsKnowledge of Equity Capital MarketsAdvanced quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements, build models and derive insights from complex datasetsProfessional communication skills, including clear verbal articulation and confident presentation abilityAbility to analyze financial ratios such as PE ratio, EV multiples, leverage, FCCR, capitalization metrics and other equity and credit related indicatorsProficiency in valuation techniques across equity and debt instruments (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions, credit spreads, etc.)Familiarity with major market data platforms, including Dealogic, Bloomberg, Factset, PitchBook Venture Capital, EPFR, IFRE and other research/data providersPractical experience with data analytics and automation tools, such as Alteryx, Tableau, VBA and PythonWork Timings8.30 am - 6.00 pm (Mon- Fri) / 11.30 am - 9.00 pm (Mon- Fri)Should be comfortable working on Weekends, public holidays, and long hoursJob LocationMumbai
